I have been teaching guitar for 30 years.Originally self-taught, I formed several bands playing exclusively original material.One of these bands “New Bed’ won a battle of the bands and recorded film clips in the ABC studio Adelaide and featured on Rage.Finding limitations in my bands interpreting my songs,I decided to go solo so I could explore different styles and create experimental as well as more conventional pieces.I happily embrace Electronica and am passionately dedicated to moving the Artform forward.I have been the recipient of Songwriting Awards from SCALA. I have a music Diploma from TAFE. 
In my teaching, I embrace theory, not pattern playing. However, Creativity, fun and Self-Realisation are paramount. I have great success in working with all ages. I have made much progress with youngsters suffering ADHD, AUTISM and Learning difficulties.I have also worked with Vietnam Vets suffering PTSD. My extensive Life experience, Broad Education, extensive Travel and Auto Didactic lifestyle contribute to my Empathy and success as a Mentor and Teacher. I am a tri-athlete who also practices Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. I teach in my Home Studio.
