Zhanning has started teaching since 2017 and has mainly focused on introducing and teaching guitar to University Students.

He has a lot of students and has contacts with several guitar societies the University of New South Wales and University of Sydney. One of his focus in his curriculum is encouraging his students to start with creating their own music. His repertoire include Bluegrass and country music.
