Excellent Pedalboard

By: on 16 July 2024
I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality of this pedalboard and its case. It is very sturdy and as good as brands that cost a lot more. Also, my power supply fits well underneath. Very handy that it comes with velcro for the pedals and clips to keep the wires organised underneath. Would recommend.

NUX NPBL bumblebee pedalboard with bag large

Well made last a lifetime. You can with tool provided totally dismantle this board and rearrange to your liking. Plenty of tape supplied to fix your pedals. JOYO power supply and patch cables was a good investment when setting the board up. Glad i choose the large board to get my big shoes on the pedals without interfering with other pedals. As usual to my previous purchases Artist Guitars are tops for quick delivery. I am a very satisfied customer.

Rock Solid Bumblebees

What’s not to like. I have the large and small versions of the Bumblebee and love them both. The small one works as my practice board and fits six Boss size pedals with a decent power supply under the raised platform. The larger fits up to twelve but all that depends on your set up. Build quality is as good as if gets and easily competes with the so called premium brand offerings. The style and looks are out there with the best however subjective that may be. Let’s face it, it’s not hard to compete with a single level board in the colours black or brown… Functionality is surprisingly good given the design allows for a power supply to be located under the board with additional always on pedals should you choose or need that. The carry bag again is great quality, sturdy and offers loads of protection. A few bonus bits and pieces make for one great value bit of gear for anybody looking for a solid pedal board.

Nice but wouldn't call it Large

By: on 7 February 2023
I've been looking at pedalboards for a while to upgrade from a fender Small - board, i loved the 2 tier concept as I'm always doin ballet moves to change pedals, but this "large" board is the same size as the "small" one i already had. yes its on me as i didn't check the measurements, i assumed it would be at least a little bigger than what i had. shame because i really like a lot this had to offer... looks like i need to get another option..

NUX Bumblebee

This thing is built like a tank! Paired with the BOSS and TC Electronic pedals I have, this thing is military grade! The only problem I had? Altering the positions of the platform bars was a pain in the ass, and it ended up scraping off some of the finish (to be expected.) Overall, an awesome board with a small print, perfect for the things I'm doing. Can't wait to get the Joyo PXL-8 on this badboy!!

Nux NPBL Bumblebee Pedalboard

I bought the Nux NPBL Bumblebee to trial a smaller footprint pedal board with the capacity to have a patch bay, power supply etc under the upper shelf. I'm a long time Pedaltrain user and I've everything from a Nano to a stupidly big board. The trick is to assemble the lower platform, install the pedals and power supply and run the leads before putting the top shelf in - this requires not tightening the screws until full assembly is complete. I have a Line 6 Helix HX Effects and Strymon Iridium on the top, with various other pedals along the bottom, and one set and forget overdrive hidden under the upper shelf. The cable management fittings are a great idea. I'm pretty happy with it however Nux could consider some design improvements for the future. Firstly, if the top shelf was hinged at the back, access to wiring and therefore making changes would be so much easier. Secondly, as much as the Meccano assembly is great, and the yellow and black colour theme looks cool, the board is comparatively heavy for its size - particularly given Pedaltrain and Momo are featherweights. A change to aluminium rather than steel would be a plus, as would anodised finish on the side rails. All in all, an innovative concept and product, practical size and the opportunity for Nux to make better still.
