Featuring the latest wireless amplifier from Nux that caters to the needs of modern guitarists and bass players alike!
The Nux Mighty Air is a wireless stereo modelling amplifier for electric and bass guitars. If features Bluetooth Connectivity and a dedicated app allowing you to enhance or customize your tone from your Android or iOS devices. It can be used for different purposes from room practice, pre-show soundcheck, travel amplifier and man, many more.
The amplifier exemplifies what a plug and play amplifier should be. It comes with a transmitter and a built-in receiver which automatically pairs using the best channel possible to provide a hassle-free and uninterrupted signal. This works for both electric and bass guitars and now works with both passive and active pickups.
The amp also features 2 modes and 7 different channels; 4 channels for guitar featuring a Clean, Overdrive, Distortion and Acoustic Simulator and 3 channels for bass which are Pop, Rock and Funk. It features a unique speaker system using a 2.2 inch custom speakers with a passive bass radiator. Do not let the small size fool you since this amp is loaded with preamps, IRs and effects that can be used with the app associated. The best part? You can save your preferences and settings on the channels!
The Mighty Air has an inbuilt high performance rechargeable battery that can provide 18 hours of usage on a full charge.
Last but not the least, the amp features Bluetooth connectivity for playing along with songs or backing tracks. What makes this unique though is the amp has EQ settings which can allow you to cut out parts from a song making it a semi backing track. For example, you can use the GUITAR CUT EQ setting to remove the guitar part from a music track.

Love it!
By: Craig on 6 December 2023I was a little sceptical about the brand, but I reckon I'll soon be adding more NUX gear to my arsenal. The wireless connectivity is liberating, great selection of fx and tone quality is better than I expected at this price point. Also, why is nobody talking about the fact that this thing has a built-in audio interface? It's come in super handy in the studio, and has got me picking up my guitar and bass more because it's just so darn convenient... Two thumbs up, highly recommend.

Mighty little amp for it's price
By: Douglas Tuck on 22 February 2023As a tiny Guitar Amp, this amp does a excellent job, surprising amount of volume, many many different effects. Phone app for setting up those effects easily. The wireless transmitter is awesome... but if you use that you can't put a effects pedal between it and your amp. As a tiny Bass Amp, it lacks a little, mainly volume, also a software update seems to have removed Bass mode from the App, despite the advertising. It's still great as a home Bass practice amp, but lacks the punch to venture outside, whereas, it probably is up to busking (in a quiet space) as a guitar amp. So as a practice amp, you'll be turning it way down for your Guitar, and all the way up for your Bass. Still a great purchase.

Thanks for the review! This really helps us improve a lot. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions, we are always happy to help.
NUX Mighty Air what a star
By: Andris on 28 October 2022As a beginning guitar player I took a risk buying the NUX Mighty Air after reading so many glowing reviews of this amp. But I can tell you that from the basic features right up to the many app setting to program how the sound is produced it does not disappoint. Even though I keep its functionality simple I just love practicing with it, it keeps me practicing longer and I have a lot more fun trying to improve. The wireless adapter that comes with the amp makes the whole package such good value on its own it work as per spec. The total unit is charged by USB and is highly portable. Can not recommend it more highly.
Artist Guitars Response
Thank you so much for the awesome review! We're glad to know that you loved the amp. We're always here if you need anything. Cheers!

Good
By: James on 13 January 2022Solid little product, sounds good for the size. Tons of features. Great fun compact little unit. A few things to improve: - Needs a built in tuner - Smartphone reliant to change profiles. - Wireless transmitter battery indicator is not very good. Heck knows how much juice is left most of the time. - Jam tracks are ridiculously short.
Mighty Good Air
By: Fabio on 19 November 2021I read the previous review, and effectively the issues are real. But from what I could see, this little beast works just fine (I don't like Flanger anyway), with enough power to be used in my lounge room. I used it for just an hour, but it was a lot of fun, and it was highly usable, more usable than the Marshall Code I used to have. As a Bluetooth speaker for music, it's as good as any major brand. I think it's awesome. I didn't mention that the delivery was the quickest I've ever seen. Two days from Sydney to Melbourne. Outstanding. After 15 Artist guitars, this is the icing on the cake. Thank you, guys, you are awesome too.
Artist Guitars Response
Thank you very much for your feedback on the amp and for your continued support for us. You don't know how much this means a lot to us. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We're just here to assist you. Have a nice day!
A once great product ruined by an NUX App and Fir
By: Corey WATTS on 5 September 2021I am writing this review after 3 months of ownership. I have purchase several items from Artist guitars. Their service, and the quality of products from another manufacturer has always been outstanding. For three months the NUX Air was a great little amp with a big sound and great features. Up until 3/09/2021 this would have been a 4/5 star review (would have been 5/5 if it featured a built-in tuner). That all changed on 3 September 2021 when NUX updated to App version 3.1.8.31 and Firmware version 2.1. In doing so, they removed amp models: Plexi, Super Lead 100 and Tweed deluxe. NUX also removed effects: Tape delay and Flanger. There was no indication in the App update description that this would occur, and there is no function to restore to the previous App and Firmware version. In summary, to anyone considering purchasing a NUX Air amp - be aware that another NUX App & Firmware update in the future may remove features from your product, without first informing you that this will happen. Updating a product to include additional features is great, however removing features from a product (that the customer has paid for) is terrible customer service from NUX. I will continue to purchase products from other manufacturers at Artist Guitars. But I will never buy another NUX product.
Artist Guitars Response
Thank you so much for letting us know of this and I am so sorry for the inconvenience this has brought you. We will send this feedback to Nux though we really cannot guarantee if the old features will be restored. We really appreciate your continued support with us.
NUX Bluetooth practice amp
By: John Mounsey on 13 August 2021Great inexpensive little bit if gear! I searched Gumtree for practice amps and there were quite a few for similar money but I’m glad I decided on the NUX. Exactly what I required plus some.
Artist Guitars Response
Thank you for the feedback and for all your support.
Disappointing.
By: Subilon on 22 December 2020Ok so I have been using this amp since the beginning of the year and I have had this amp replaced a lot to the point of giving up on this in frustration.Main problems have been after installing the new firmware update the amp wouldn’t work on eco mode just wouldn’t turn off and I kept having to reset it to make it work even off eco mode. The last straw is when the casing that houses the wireless along the top of the unit broke.....and it brakes too easily causing me to lose trust in the integrity of this product.Sorry Nux.A great concept but some flaws really need to be addressed on this unit.I won’t be buying another!Disappointed!
Nu-x Mighty Air 10W bluetooth wireless guitar amp
By: Rob Russell on 6 November 2020Tiny package, great tones, portable and wireless. Works exactly as described. Easy to use with or without the downloaded app. Wireless is quick and simple to connect. Just works. Delivery was very quick, too!
Nux mighty air
By: Ben O'Brien on 27 October 2020Great amp for what it is.... i really liked overdrive channel but the distortion channel is a bit hard to get a really decent sound...i might have to tweak the settings more in the app which is handy!
little ripper
By: Vic on 24 August 2020Highly recommend, great sound and small enough not to annoy others. No guitar leads has so many positives. And the price, you get alot for your money. It is a solid little beast, not junky lightweight feel. I was going to get this amp to save cash until able to buy more expensive other brand with similar features. No need now, the Mighty Air ticks every box for my needs.
What a great little amp
By: Anonymous on 10 August 2020Wow sounds so large for something so small, Great for Bass as well as Guitar. Heaps of settings and rechargeable. I love it. Easy to use app.
The PERFECT practice amp!
By: Anonymous on 24 July 2020I could not recommend this product enough! Combined with the app, it can get any tone you would ever need, it's easy to use, sounds great through headphones as well as the speakers, can go pretty loud if need be, and the wireless system is honestly such a huge bonus and makes it so convenient. There are some sounds which are bad (the Vox amp model for example) but you would be hard pressed not to find a good tone here. It also works well as a stand alone bluetooth speaker, sounds as good as any bluetooth speaker at this price range. I take it with me anywhere I go where I know I could get in some practice now. The acoustic sim is also a nice little bonus feature and the app opens up sounds for Bass guitar which sound great too! with built in drum beats and backing tracks its honestly the only practice tool you'll ever need! If you're on the fence about getting it or not... GET IT!
Excellent
By: Amar on 15 April 2020Great little amp with loads of features, wireless transmitter and don't be fooled by its size.. loved it, and the support from these guys (artistguitars) is second to none.

What is a cookie
We use cookies and URL information to gather information regarding the date and time of your visit and the information for which you searched and which you viewed on the Website. “Cookies” are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing a web site. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our Website. Persistent Cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions. Cookies may enable automatic logins when you visit in the future and may enable content customisation.
Some cookies are necessary to allow you to browse our Website, use its features, and access secure areas. The use of these cookies is essential for our Website to work.
We also use functional cookies to remember choices you’ve made or information you’ve provided, such as your username, language, or the region you are in. This allows us to tailor your website experience specifically to your preferences. For example, authentication cookies are functional cookies that are used for the duration of a session (or persistent, if you agree to the “remember me” function) to allow users to authenticate themselves on subsequent visits or to gain access to authorized content across pages. The functional cookies we use include:
• User-centric security cookies to detect authentication abuses for a limited persistent duration, like repeated failed login attempts. These cookies are set for the specific task of increasing the security of our Website.
• Multimedia content player session cookies (flash cookies) are used for the duration of a session to store technical data needed to play back video or audio content (e.g. image quality, network link speed, and buffering parameters).
• Load balancing session cookies are used for the duration of the session to identify the same server in the pool in order for the load balancer to redirect user requests appropriately.
• User interface customisation persistent cookies are used to store a user’s preference regarding a service across web pages.
We use many tools to help us improve our Website. To this end, we use reporting and analytics cookies to collect information about how you use our Website and how often. These cookies only gather information for statistical purposes and only use pseudonymous cookie identifiers that do not directly identify you. The performance cookies we use include:
• First party analytics cookies - we use these cookies to estimate the number of unique visitors, to improve our Website and to detect the most searched for words in search engines that lead to our Website. We use these cookies to learn how our Website is performing and make relevant improvements to improve your browsing experience.
• Third party analytics cookies - we also use Google Analytics and other third-party analytics providers listed below to help measure how users interact with our Website content. These cookies “remember” what our users have done on previous pages and how they’ve interacted with our Website. For more information on Google Analytics, visit Google’s information page. For instructions on how opt out of Google Analytics, see below.
Advertising cookies are used on our Website to tailor marketing to you and your interests and provide you with a more personalized service in the future. These cookies remember that you visited our Website and we may share this information with third-parties, such as advertisers. Although these cookies can track your device’s visits to our Website and other sites, they typically cannot personally identify you. Without these cookies, the advertisements that you see may be less relevant and interesting to you. Read more about how companies use cookies to conduct targeted or retargeted advertising here.
Social and Content cookies are placed by many social media plugins (for example the Facebook ’like’ button), and other tools meant to provide or improve the content on a website (for example services that allow the playing of video files, or that create comments sections). We integrate these modules into our Website to improve the experience of browsing and interacting with our Website. Please note that some of these third party services place cookies that are also used for things like behavioural advertising, analytics, and/or market research.
We also use third party vendor re-marketing tracking cookies, including:
• the Google Adwords tracking cookie;
• the Facebook Pixel; and
• SmartrMail tracking cookie.
You can opt out of Google's use of cookies or device identifiers by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you may visit the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page or control the use of device identifiers by using your device’s settings.
Third parties, including Google may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from the Service and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. You can opt out of the collection and use of information for ad targeting using aboutads.info/choices
Many of the third party advertising and other tracking services listed above offer you the opportunity to opt out of their tracking systems. You can read more about the information they collect and how to opt out through the privacy policy links listed above.
To opt out of these communications please visit the Network Advertising Initiative opt out page.
How long will cookies remain on my computer or mobile device?
The length of time that a cookie remains on your computer or mobile device depends on whether it is a “persistent” or “session” cookie. Session cookies last until you stop browsing and persistent cookies last until they expire or are deleted. Most of the cookies we use are persistent and will expire between 30 minutes and two years from the date they are downloaded to your device.
How do I control cookies?
You can control and manage cookies in various ways. Please keep in mind that removing or blocking cookies can negatively impact your user experience and parts of our Website may no longer be fully accessible.
Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can choose whether or not to accept cookies through your browser controls, often found in your browser’s “Tools” or “Preferences” menu. For more information on how to modify your browser settings or how to block, manage or filter cookies can be found in your browser’s help file or through such sites as: www.allaboutcookies.org.
Many of the third party advertising and other tracking services listed above offer you the opportunity to opt out of their tracking systems. You can read more about the information they collect and how to opt out through the privacy policy links listed above.
