Product Description

About These Strings

Every time you play your guitar, tiny bits of you are left to invade the windings to contaminate your strings and kill your tone. Elixir Strings are the only strings that keep dirt out of the windings by coating the entire string. Our ultra-thin NANOWEB Coating provides a bright, lively tone that players tell us lasts longer than any other string, uncoated or coated. This means you buy fewer sets of strings, change them less often and trust your guitar is ready to go whenever you are.

Elixir Strings deliver the presence, punch, and detail of traditional electric guitar strings. But when it comes to tone life, there is no comparison. Players report with Elixir Strings their tone lasts longer than any other string, uncoated or coated.

These strings provide the sound of traditional strings, but with a Nanoweb coating so thin you can barely tell it's there! This coating doesn't just coat the wire but coats the entire string preventing corrosion and contamination from accumulating on the surface and in the space between the windings.

Anti-Rust plating on all plain steel strings resists tone-deadening corrosion, giving you a clean feel every time you play your guitar.

Review Elixir 12027 9-46 Nanoweb Light Electric Gu

By: on 22 December 2020
I know Elixir Nanowebs well , having used them exclusively on all my acoustic and electric guitars professionally since 2010 for longevity and feel ... i usually play 10-46 on a strat style guitar but these are just the sweet spot for extra 'bendability' on the treble end, without losing the bass of the heavier 46 on the bottom E... Artist guitars are fantastic to work with, freight time is down to a minimum (even in covid times!) and they are great communicators.... have bought two guitars from them also, one for me and one for a student.. and they are the best value for money in the country... Cheers, Leigh
