Caline CP504 M-Fuzz Fuzz Guitar Effects Pedal

Based on a true classic, the Caline M-Fuzz is a must-have for fuzz fans! This is an homage to one the most famous fuzz pedals in history, and is capable of traversing saturated distortion with your guitar volume turned down, all the way through to a wall-of-sound style crushing fuzz when you turn up!

Instantly recognisable, the violin-like sustain soars as a lead tone, and for good reason it has been used on some of the all-time greatest rock song recordings. The richly harmonic fuzz overtones ring through with clarity when strumming a chord, but beware - with some serious volume on tap this pedal can blow down a brick wall! The subtle complexities of this fuzz leave plenty of room for exploration, and we recommend experimenting with humbuckers and single-coils to really experience what this pedal is packing under the hood. Paired with a slightly overdriven tube amp this pedal will blast through any mix with a doom-laden sonic attack that has to be experienced to be truly understood!

The CP-504 features true-bypass circuitry in a lightweight Aluminium Alloy casing, with simple and easy to use controls, and it is very responsive to your guitar volume and pick attack.

Great sounding, easy to use fuzz

By: on 9 December 2024
I have a Roland JC-22 (ultra clean digital amp) which isn't the first amp you might reach for when looking for fuzz tones, but this pedal sounds great through it. With the fuzz as its lowest it's like a heavy overdrive. With the fuzz and the tone fully up it sounds brittle, but not in an unpleasant, cover-your-ears way. With the tone fully down it takes on a thick sound that's muffled without being muddy, and quite aggressive in the bass and midrange. In between are a surprisingly wide range of sounds. Next I tried it into a Joyo American Sound (set fairly flat, just on "breakup") and it sounds great through that too - fuller and meatier. It's very usable either way. I don't have a valve amp any more but imagine this pedal would be awesome into real tubes. I hear no noise from the pedal except when cranked as you'd expect and the bypass switch had no pops. I'm really happy with this pedal, it's well worth checking out for the price!

Fuzz yuk

I bought this because I read a review from a customer who praised it to the moon. I have long understood that you get what you pay for but thought it was worth rolling the dice. I lost. The pedal is sub par. Certainly nothing like a Big Muff or other heavy hitters in fuzz land. I’m really sorry, maybe I got a dud but if I could do it over I’d say no. Not good

Caline M-Fuzz

I've wasted a lot of money on fuzz pedals over the years, spent some big bucks on things that just didn't do what I wanted. Came across this, dirt cheap at Artist Guitars and thought "well I've wasted way more in the past and not got close to what I wanted so for the price this is a no brainer. Again, review videos on YouTube are just a guide, most you can take with a grain of salt. Too many variables in recording not to mention questionable set ups and use by reviewers. In any event, this one was a massive surprise. The closest I've ever got to elusive fuzz I've searched for. It does lovely spitty '60's fuzz right through to modern styles. Have to say I way prefer it to my Big Muff. And on the scale of pedals it cost literally nothing! If you're on a budget and need a fuzz this one will do the trick and it sounds way better than stuff I've paid six to eight times more. Excellent build quality and it's RED. Not to mention great service from Artist Guitars! You don't get many things of this quality for the price. Just buy one....

Excellent pedal and only $59! I specifically wanted a pedal to do one thing and that is provide fat, long sustaining notes with plenty of harmonics for melody sections and occasional solos. The M- fuzz provided exactly what I needed. My bass player is thinking of getting one too....and it was delivered to my doorstep in super quick time, a bit earlier than I expected actually. All round good service and product as usual from Artist Guitars.....Tsunami Steve.

Amazing Classic Fuzz for Bass

By: on 22 September 2022
I bought this on a bit of a whim because of the great price and have been very pleasently surprised by how good this pedal is. I've been using this for both gigging and recording and it's holding up really well so far. There's a great range of tones available and the casing all feels quite high quality. There's a couple things I would change, most notably the power point connection (on the left side not back) but that's pretty small. Mine did arrive missing a knob but Artist Guitars were incredibly helpful and shipped a replacement within a couple of days.
