We're turning 15! We've certainly come a long way from our humble beginnings producing a small range of electric guitars all those years ago! To celebrate, we're bringing you a range of pro-spec instruments at prices that defy belief - just as we've been doing for the last 15 years...
This one's for the bassists! The Artist AJB5 is the ultimate 5-string low-end beast, combining peak aesthetic design, playability, and quality specifications to produce one of the best bass guitars we've ever made. With a mahogany body hand-pasted with pink paisley wallpaper, the AJB5 has been painstakingly finished with nitrocellulose lacquer before being relic'd to give it that "battle-worn" relic look. Though it may look pre-loved, the AJB5 is not the shabby instrument the relic'd finish suggests. The roasted maple neck features a slab of genuine rosewood adorned with mother-of-pearl block inlays, while high-grade Derulo tuners and a bone nut frame the gorgeous matching headstock.
With a pair of hand-wound pickups courtesy of the Laohao workshop, the AJB5 delivers clarity right across the frequency spectrum - tight low-end and plenty of sizzle for awesome slap tones that cut through the mix. Bright yet versatile, the AJB5 is perfect for funk-rockers and jazz players alike - given the pickup mix and EQ options available via the tone and volume knobs, there's a sweet spot here for every player!
Like the rest of our range, the 15th Anniversary AJB5 has been painstakingly designed to perfectly balance professional quality with our famous affordability - the same ethos that has carried us since our first guitar rolled off the line all those years ago.
