AJB BASS GUITAR.

By: on 11 December 2024
I have had my AJB for about 7/8 years, but not used it much. When I was a young bloke, that is three or four years ago, lol, I played base in three bands for three years each. As soon as I heard the Fender Jazz base, I knew I had to have one. That jazz base had a maple fingerboard, but the one sent up to me had a rosewood board. I do accept that woods are not having any effect on tone, but the one I got was not at all like the maple fingerboard. But it was still good, no doubt. Here's the thing, people, this Artist thing DOES sound so much like the Fender Jazz base. The Fender E string and the G string were rather dead, little sustain. This Artist one has as much sustain as you want all all strings. I am about to put some D"Darios on now, as I had before. The MORAL, fellow players, this thing here is the equal of that Fender from so long ago. Merry Christmas to all.
