Featuring a stunning epoxy resin "Topaz Gold" nitrocellulose finish, this 24-fret weapon is the snarling, snotty brother to the more refined AJB5, delivering brutal, high-output tones that pair perfectly with all manner of bass fuzz and distortion effects. Featuring a stunning roasted maple neck and rosewood fretboard, the AB5 is finished in a stunning limited edition Topaz Gold burled mahogany and resin finish custom-designed to pop under the lights of the stage!
With a pair of hand-wound pickups courtesy of the Laohao workshop. the dual humbuckers in this one are absolute face-melters, with booming, tight bass frequencies, and plenty of top-end to cut through the heaviest of mixes - there'll be no And Justice For All style bass travesties with the AB5 in your hands! Switch between active and passive mode for a huge variety of tonal options, which are only increased by the innovative three-band EQ in active mode - dedicated low, mid and high knobs allowing fine-tuning across the entire frequency spectrum!
